D.A.S. is a company specializing in visual communication and art work.
Founded in 1989, D.A.S. does print and outdoor advertising, design, and web site authoring for a variety of US clients. Some of the projects are: Marketing Graphics for

BLT and associates, Hollywood, California
Mac Designer - May 1996-Mar 1997
BLT is one of the top ad agencies in Hollywood
that produces movie poster campaigns for a variety of
clients. While at BLT, I worked on several large ad
campaigns including: The Lost World, Murder at 1600,
Lost in Space, Titanic, Kiss the Girls, Private Parts,
Fierce Creatures, Volcano, Speed 2, among others.

At F & C, I was able to work in a variety of advertising
projects including:
( www.thespot.com ) - The Spot was dubbed
the first episodic website by Website magazine, and covered the day to day lives of
5 'spotmates', who all live at a Santa Monica beach
house. I was the graphic designer for the site from its
creation in June 1995 until April 1996. The site recieved
much international coverage, resulting in
a book about The Spot, published by Simon and Schuster.

Digital Production - Nov 1994-March1995
Before designing projects at F&C, I was also responsible
for Digital Production on a variety of print advertising
and packaging projects including:
Infiniti of North America - point of sale
brochures and promotional packages.
Century City Shopping Center - production
mock-ups for a full advertising campaign.
Disney Art Editions - brochures for marketing
of Disneys animation reproductions.
TOMY Toys - packaging of a variety of
childrens computer products.
Includes press checks and digital file transfer via
electronic connection and removable digital media.

Freelance Mac designer/Digital Production - June 1995-May 1996
JGMC produced Kaufman & Broad Print Ads
for a variety of Southern California and
Southwestern newspapers.

Freelance Illustrator - July 1994-on
I was awarded a commision to do a series of illustrations to be
published in the sunday edition of the magazine.
The 'City Scenes' Series of watercolor paintings were
first published August 1994
Artype Publications, Los Angeles, California
Photo Technician /Mac Designer - June 1991-June 1993
Artype specialized in aerospace graphics and slide
duplication and imaging. I was involved in the photo
lab as well, producing slides, black and white line
enlargements, color transparencies, C-41 process
developing, E-6 processing, multiple exposure strip-ins,
and color Cibachrome processing.
